  1.   Hello, I have noticed that about a week after I began using the trumpet 
  2. newsreader under winsock it started taking an unusually long time to  come up. 
  3.  Specifically, I double click on the icon and the whole system appears frozen 
  4. for 15-25 seconds.  I am pretty sure it is playing with the ini file does it 
  5. have to cross refrence it or something?  Note that this happend _before_ NNTP 
  6. connection is established.  I won't even begin on delays due to an already 
  7. overloaded AXP 3000 NNTP server.

  9.   Also, Mosaic seems to freeze up but always comes back, it is usually shortly 
  10. after loading a new page.  I have changed all fonts to Fixedsys 10 point 
  11. because I know the graphics take a lot of time, but it is really too slow to 
  12. use currently.  I am running a 386DX25 (into the ground) with a 14.4K modem 
  13. and a very clear phone line as noted from observing block errors and retrains 
  14. which are usually negligible.
